1. indigo dyes caught in rigor,

    in beautiful stagnation

    to gently eclipse the moon

    and tint the world

    shades of violet.

    cast in half-shadows,

    the emerald tide runs low

only to burst forth in springs

    when the moon returns.

    meanwhile,

a bystander gets swept by the waves,

    hopelessly

    devoured.
